A service for children, run by a parent

Children do not create accounts, give an email address or sign in on their own. A parent or legal guardian creates the family account, agrees to how the child’s information is used, and adds each child. A child uses Tamoora inside that account.

The parent’s consent

Before any information about a child is collected, the adult creating the family account confirms that they are the parent or legal guardian of the children they will add, and gives consent. We record when it was given and to which version of our documents. Without that consent, no child can be added.

What we collect about a child

• Entered by the parent: a display name, an age band, and, if the parent chooses, a school grade and an avatar.
• Collected as the child uses the app: the child’s progress and app state — lessons and activities done, answers inside activities, rewards, and choices made in the app, including names the child types there, such as the name of the companion character.
• For the child’s own device, which the parent links: the device’s label and key described in the Privacy Policy, and for each day the minutes the app was open and how many of them a video played, kept for 90 days, so the parent can set and see the child’s time.
• If the parent says yes to the AI teacher and Tamoora for the child: the words the child writes or taps with the teacher or with Tamoora, sent without the child’s name to the AI company that runs them, as “The AI teacher and Tamoora” below describes; the last turns of each lesson, kept in the child’s saved progress; nothing of a talk with Tamoora; and how many turns the child had each day, kept for 90 days.
• If the child also talks by voice: the child’s voice, during the call only, goes from the device straight to the AI company that runs the voice, and is not recorded; in a lesson, the call’s words as the screen shows them join the lesson’s turns; and how many calls the child had each day and their minutes, kept for 90 days.

That is all. We do not collect a child’s email address, phone number, home address, photo or location, and we keep no recording of a child’s voice. A device the parent links to a child carries a device key and the child’s internal ID, so the app opens there for that child alone; they are used for nothing else, and we create no identifier to follow a child.

For the display name, a first name or a nickname is enough. Please remind your children not to type personal details, such as a surname, an address or a phone number, into the app.

How we use it

Only to run Tamoora for your family: to show each child their own learning, to save their progress from their device to your family account, to apply the time and the pause you set, to let you restore earlier copies, and, if you say yes, to let the academy’s AI teacher and Tamoora talk with your child, in writing and by voice. We do not use it for advertising, marketing or profiling, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train artificial-intelligence models.

The AI teacher and Tamoora

The academy’s AI teacher is a computer program, and it says so: the classroom names it an AI teacher, and it never claims to be a person. It speaks with a child only after a parent has turned it on for that child — a separate yes, given in the parent area or on the child’s device with the parents’ PIN — and it stops as soon as the parent turns it off. It also stops while the parents pause the child, when the child’s time for the day is up, or when the family’s plan is not active, and each child has a number of turns a day. Before you turn it on, the parent area shows, next to the switch, what the teacher gets, where it goes and what is kept; and we record each change of the switch in the account’s action log.

What it gets: the words of the lesson only — what the child writes or chooses with the teacher and the last turns of that lesson — with the lesson’s place in the curriculum, the child’s age band, the language and which of our teachers is teaching. Before anything leaves our server, we take out the names of the child and the family as they are written in your account and in the academy (for the region’s common names, also the spellings we list for them in the other alphabet; a nickname or a spelling we do not list can still get through), and email addresses, links, social-media handles and long numbers that could be phone numbers (a number of fewer than eight digits, or an address or a number written in an unusual way, can still get through); the teacher is also instructed never to ask for or repeat personal details. It goes to Anthropic, PBC, which runs the teacher for us under contract, does not use it to train its models, and deletes it within 30 days, unless its automated safety systems flag a conversation, when it may keep it for up to 2 years to enforce its usage policy, or where the law requires.

Tamoora, the app’s companion character, is the same kind of program, and never claims to be a person either: she stands small in the corner of the child’s pages, the child taps her to talk, and the child can hide her in the app’s companion page. For a child in your family’s account, she works on the same yes, within the same turns a day and under the same rules. She gets what the child writes or taps and the last turns of the talk, with the child’s age band, the language of the talk and the page of the app the child is on, cleaned in the same way and sent to the same company; we keep nothing of the talk.

For a child in your family’s account, the same yes lets the child talk by voice with Tamoora or a teacher, for a few minutes a day, when our team has turned the voice on. The child taps to call, and the device asks for the microphone first. The child’s voice goes from the device straight to OpenAI OpCo, LLC, which runs the voice for us under contract, does not use it to train its models, and may keep it for up to 30 days to detect and prevent abuse; our server gives it only who is speaking, the language, the child’s age band and the lesson’s objective, and we make no recording. A yes given before October 10, 2026 was for the written teacher alone: Tamoora and the voice wait for your yes again, which the parent area asks for.

Someone trying Tamoora without an account — the visitor’s tour, with its sample child, and the lessons by voice on tamoora.com/learn — is answered without a family’s yes: Tamoora answers in the tour only after the visitor agrees on the screen that says so, and a lesson starts only when the visitor taps to start it. What goes where, and what we keep, is in the Privacy Policy under «Trying Tamoora without an account». For a child to use Tamoora with your own controls and your own yes, use a family account.

How it is kept safe: it is instructed to teach the curriculum and answer school questions at the child’s level; to give no links, no shopping and no contact with anyone; to turn away from anything violent, frightening, romantic or sexual, and from drugs, gambling and dangerous challenges; and, if a child says something that suggests they are hurt, frightened or in danger, to stop the lesson and tell them to talk now to a parent or a trusted adult. Links are also taken out of its answers before your child sees them. No AI is perfect, and the teacher can make mistakes, so stay close to your child’s learning, as with any learning aid.

What Tamoora does not do

• No advertising of any kind.
• No third-party analytics, tracking or advertising technology added by us.
• No chat or messages with other people, and no public profiles or sharing between children or with strangers. The academy’s AI teacher and Tamoora, if you say yes, are computer programs, not people.
• Children cannot buy anything or change the family’s settings: purchases and settings belong to the parent, behind the parents’ PIN, which our server checks. A setting changed on a child’s device without the PIN does not stay: the family’s own comes back.

One thing to know: videos are closed until you open them for a child. Once they are open, the videos’ pictures load from YouTube’s servers and a video plays in YouTube’s own player, so YouTube may receive the device’s IP address and set its own cookies under Google’s policies, as the Privacy Policy explains. You can close videos again at any time in the parent area.

Who else sees it

Only the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy, under contract and only to run Tamoora for us, and only where the law requires it. We do not disclose children’s information to any third party for its own purposes.

Your rights as a parent

• See it: your family page shows each child’s profile, device and time today, and “Download a copy of your family’s data” in Settings gives you everything we keep, including saved progress, daily time and the days with the AI teacher, Tamoora and the voice.
• Correct it: change a child’s details in Settings.
• Delete it: “Delete for good” erases a child with all their progress and saved copies; you can also delete the whole family account. “Remove” takes a child off the list but keeps their data, so you can bring them back.
• Stop further collection: erasing the child stops it; nothing more is collected for that child. Stopping the child’s device stops the app on it at once.
• Turn the AI teacher, with Tamoora and the voice, on or off, and open or close videos: for each child, at any time, in the parent area or on the child’s device with the parents’ PIN.
• Ask us: write to privacy@tamoora.com. To protect children, we act on requests made from, or confirmed in, the signed-in family account.

How long we keep it

For as long as the family account exists, unless you erase the child sooner; each day’s minutes, and each day’s count of turns with the AI teacher and Tamoora and of calls by voice, 90 days; the record of each call, 7 days. Deleted data leaves our live database at once and our encrypted backups within 35 days.

The laws we follow

We apply the same parent-first model to every child, wherever they live: the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) for children under 13; the GDPR’s rules on children’s consent (Article 8) in the European Union; the UK GDPR and the principles of the Age Appropriate Design Code in the United Kingdom; Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law, which requires a guardian’s consent for a minor’s data; and comparable laws elsewhere.

App stores

Tamoora is designed to meet the App Store rules for apps in Apple’s Kids Category and Google Play’s Families Policy: no third-party advertising or analytics, nothing collected beyond what the app needs to work, videos only after a parent opens them, and nothing a child can buy or change in the family’s settings without a parent.

خدمة للأطفال يديرها أحد الوالدين

لا ينشئ الأطفال حسابات، ولا يعطون بريدًا إلكترونيًا، ولا يسجّلون الدخول بأنفسهم. الوالد أو الوليّ الشرعي هو من ينشئ حساب العائلة، ويوافق على طريقة استخدام معلومات الطفل، ويضيف كل طفل. ويستخدم الطفل تمّورة داخل ذلك الحساب.

موافقة الوالدين

قبل جمع أي معلومة عن طفل، يؤكّد البالغ الذي ينشئ حساب العائلة أنه الوالد أو الوليّ الشرعي للأطفال الذين سيضيفهم، ويمنح موافقته. ونسجّل وقت منحها وأي نسخة من وثائقنا وافق عليها. ودون هذه الموافقة لا يمكن إضافة أي طفل.

ما نجمعه عن الطفل

• بإدخال الوالد: اسم للعرض، وفئة عمرية، وإن شاء الوالد الصف الدراسي وصورة رمزية.
• أثناء استخدام الطفل التطبيق: تقدّمه وحالة التطبيق — الدروس والأنشطة التي أنجزها، وإجاباته داخل الأنشطة، ومكافآته، واختياراته داخل التطبيق، ومنها الأسماء التي يكتبها هناك، كاسم الرفيق.
• لجهاز الطفل الخاص به، الذي يربطه الوالد: وصف الجهاز ومفتاحه المبيّنان في سياسة الخصوصية، ولكل يوم دقائق فتح التطبيق وكم منها شُغّل فيه فيديو، وتُحفظ 90 يومًا، ليضع الوالد وقت الطفل ويراه.
• إن وافق الوالد للطفل على المعلّم الذكي وتمّورة: الكلمات التي يكتبها الطفل أو يلمسها مع المعلّم أو مع تمّورة، وتُرسل دون اسم الطفل إلى شركة الذكاء الاصطناعي التي تشغّلهما، كما يبيّن «المعلّم الذكي وتمّورة» أدناه؛ وآخر أدوار كل درس، وتُحفظ في تقدّم الطفل المحفوظ؛ ولا شيء من الحديث مع تمّورة؛ وعدد أدوار الطفل في كل يوم، ويُحفظ 90 يومًا.
• وإن تحدّث الطفل بالصوت أيضًا: صوت الطفل، أثناء المكالمة فقط، يذهب من جهازه مباشرة إلى شركة الذكاء الاصطناعي التي تشغّل الصوت، ولا يُسجَّل؛ وفي الدرس تنضم كلمات المكالمة كما تظهرها الشاشة إلى أدوار الدرس؛ وعدد مكالمات الطفل في كل يوم ودقائقها، ويُحفظ 90 يومًا.

هذا كل شيء. لا نجمع بريد الطفل ولا رقم هاتفه ولا عنوان منزله ولا صورته ولا موقعه، ولا نحفظ أي تسجيل لصوته. والجهاز الذي يربطه الوالد بطفل يحمل مفتاحًا للجهاز والمعرّف الداخلي للطفل، ليفتح التطبيق عليه لذلك الطفل وحده؛ ولا يُستخدمان لشيء غير ذلك، ولا ننشئ أي معرّف لتتبّع الطفل.

يكفي لاسم العرض الاسم الأول أو اسم تدليل. ونرجو أن تذكّر أطفالك بألا يكتبوا في التطبيق تفاصيل شخصية، كاسم العائلة أو العنوان أو رقم الهاتف.

كيف نستخدمها

لتشغيل تمّورة لعائلتك فقط: لنعرض لكل طفل تعلّمه هو، ونحفظ تقدّمه من جهازه في حساب عائلتك، ونطبّق الوقت والإيقاف المؤقت اللذين تضعهما، ونتيح لك استعادة النسخ السابقة، وليتحدث المعلّم الذكي في الأكاديمية وتمّورة مع طفلك، كتابةً وصوتًا، إن وافقت. ولا نستخدمها للإعلان أو التسويق أو بناء الملفات التعريفية، ولا نبيعها، ولا نستخدمها لتدريب نماذج الذكاء الاصطناعي.

المعلّم الذكي وتمّورة

المعلّم الذكي في الأكاديمية برنامج حاسوبي، ويقول ذلك: يسمّيه الفصل معلّمًا ذكيًا، ولا يدّعي أبدًا أنه إنسان. ولا يتحدث مع طفل إلا بعد أن يفتحه أحد الوالدين لذلك الطفل — موافقة مستقلة تُعطى من مساحة ولي الأمر، أو على جهاز الطفل برقم الوالدين السري — ويتوقف فور إيقاف الوالد له. ويتوقف كذلك ما دام الوالدان قد أوقفا الطفل مؤقتًا، أو انتهى وقت الطفل في يومه، أو لم يكن اشتراك العائلة مفعّلًا، ولكل طفل عدد من الأدوار في اليوم. وقبل أن تفتحه تعرض مساحة ولي الأمر بجانب المفتاح ما يصل المعلّم، وأين يذهب، وما يُحفظ؛ ونسجّل كل تغيير للمفتاح في سجل إجراءات الحساب.

ما يصله: كلمات الدرس فقط — ما يكتبه الطفل أو يختاره مع المعلّم، وآخر أدوار ذلك الدرس — مع موضع الدرس من المنهج، والفئة العمرية للطفل، واللغة، وأيّ معلّمينا يدرّس. وقبل أن يخرج أي شيء من خادمنا نحذف منه اسم الطفل واسم العائلة كما كُتبا في حسابك وفي الأكاديمية (وللأسماء الشائعة في المنطقة أيضًا ما نُدرجه لها من طرق الكتابة بالأبجدية الأخرى؛ وقد يمرّ اسم دلع أو كتابة لا نُدرجها)، وعناوين البريد الإلكتروني، والروابط، ومعرّفات الحسابات على الشبكات الاجتماعية، والأرقام الطويلة التي قد تكون أرقام هواتف (وقد يمرّ رقم أقل من ثماني خانات، أو عنوان أو رقم كُتب بطريقة غير معتادة)؛ وقد أُمر المعلّم أيضًا ألا يطلب تفاصيل شخصية ولا يكرّرها أبدًا. ويذهب ذلك إلى Anthropic, PBC، التي تشغّل المعلّم لحسابنا بموجب عقد، ولا تستخدمه لتدريب نماذجها، وتحذفه خلال 30 يومًا، إلا إذا رصدت أنظمة السلامة الآلية لديها محادثةً، فقد تحتفظ بها حتى سنتين لتطبيق سياسة الاستخدام لديها، أو حيث يوجب القانون ذلك.

تمّورة، شخصية الرفيقة في التطبيق، برنامج من النوع نفسه، ولا تدّعي هي أيضًا أنها إنسان: تقف صغيرة في زاوية صفحات الطفل، ويلمسها الطفل ليتحدث معها، ويستطيع إخفاءها من صفحة الرفيق في التطبيق. ولطفل في حساب عائلتك تعمل بالموافقة نفسها، وضمن عدد الأدوار نفسه في اليوم، وبالقواعد نفسها. ويصلها ما يكتبه الطفل أو يلمسه وآخر أدوار الحديث، مع الفئة العمرية للطفل ولغة الحديث والصفحة التي فيها الطفل من التطبيق، منقّحًا بالطريقة نفسها ومرسلًا إلى الشركة نفسها؛ ولا نحفظ شيئًا من الحديث.

ولطفل في حساب عائلتك تتيح الموافقة نفسها أن يتحدث بالصوت مع تمّورة أو مع معلّم، لدقائق معدودة في اليوم، حين يكون فريقنا قد فتح الصوت. يلمس الطفل زرّ المكالمة، ويطلب الجهاز الميكروفون أولًا. ويذهب صوت الطفل من جهازه مباشرة إلى OpenAI OpCo, LLC، التي تشغّل الصوت لحسابنا بموجب عقد، ولا تستخدمه لتدريب نماذجها، وقد تحتفظ به حتى 30 يومًا لكشف إساءة الاستخدام ومنعها؛ ولا يعطيها خادمنا إلا من يتحدث، واللغة، والفئة العمرية للطفل، وهدف الدرس، ولا نصنع أي تسجيل. والموافقة المعطاة قبل 10 أكتوبر 2026 كانت للمعلّم كتابةً وحده: فتمّورة والصوت ينتظران موافقتك من جديد، وتطلبها منك مساحة ولي الأمر.

ومن يجرّب تمّورة بلا حساب — جولة الزائر بطفلها التجريبي، والدروس بالصوت في tamoora.com/learn — يُجاب بلا موافقة عائلة: لا تجيب تمّورة في الجولة إلا بعد أن يوافق الزائر على الشاشة التي تقول ذلك، ولا يبدأ الدرس إلا حين يلمس الزائر زرّ البدء. وما يذهب إلى أين، وما نحفظه، في سياسة الخصوصية تحت «تجربة تمّورة بلا حساب». وليستعمل طفلك تمّورة بضوابطك وموافقتك، استعمل حساب العائلة.

كيف يبقى آمنًا: أُمر المعلّم أن يعلّم المنهج ويجيب عن أسئلة الدراسة بمستوى الطفل؛ وألا يعطي روابط، ولا تسوّقًا، ولا تواصلًا مع أي أحد؛ وأن يبتعد عن كل ما فيه عنف أو تخويف أو رومانسية أو جنس، وعن المخدرات والقمار والتحديات الخطرة؛ وإذا قال الطفل ما يوحي بأنه متأذٍّ أو خائف أو في خطر، أن يوقف الدرس ويطلب منه أن يكلّم الآن أحد والديه أو بالغًا يثق به. ونحذف الروابط أيضًا من أجوبته قبل أن يراها طفلك. ولا يوجد ذكاء اصطناعي كامل، وقد يخطئ المعلّم، فابقَ قريبًا من تعلّم طفلك كما مع أي وسيلة تعليمية.

ما لا تفعله تمّورة

• لا إعلانات من أي نوع.
• لا تحليلات ولا تتبّع ولا تقنيات إعلانية من أطراف أخرى نضيفها نحن.
• لا محادثات ولا رسائل مع أشخاص آخرين، ولا ملفات عامة ولا مشاركة بين الأطفال أو مع غرباء. والمعلّم الذكي في الأكاديمية وتمّورة، إن وافقت، برنامجان حاسوبيان وليسا إنسانين.
• لا يستطيع الأطفال شراء أي شيء ولا تغيير إعدادات العائلة: المشتريات والإعدادات للوالدين، خلف رقم الوالدين السري الذي يتحقّق منه خادمنا. والإعداد الذي يُغيَّر على جهاز طفل دون الرقم السري لا يبقى: يعود إعداد العائلة نفسه.

أمر ينبغي أن تعرفه: الفيديو مغلق حتى تفتحه أنت للطفل. وبعد أن يُفتح تُحمَّل صور الفيديوهات من خوادم YouTube ويُعرض الفيديو في مشغّل YouTube نفسه، فقد تتلقّى YouTube عنوان IP للجهاز وتضع ملفات تعريف ارتباط خاصة بها وفق سياسات Google، كما توضّح سياسة الخصوصية. ويمكنك إغلاق الفيديو من جديد في أي وقت من مساحة ولي الأمر.

من يطّلع عليها غيرنا

مقدّمو الخدمات المذكورون في سياسة الخصوصية فقط، بموجب عقد ولتشغيل تمّورة لنا فحسب، ولا غيرهم إلا حيث يوجب القانون. ولا نُفصح عن معلومات الأطفال لأي طرف آخر لأغراضه الخاصة.

حقوقك بصفتك والدًا

• الاطّلاع: صفحة عائلتك تعرض ملف كل طفل وجهازه ووقته اليوم، و«تنزيل نسخة من بيانات العائلة» في الإعدادات يعطيك كل ما نحفظه، ومنه التقدّم المحفوظ والوقت اليومي وأيام المعلّم الذكي وتمّورة والصوت.
• التصحيح: غيّر تفاصيل الطفل من الإعدادات.
• الحذف: «حذف نهائي» يمحو الطفل مع كل تقدّمه ونسخه المحفوظة؛ ويمكنك أيضًا حذف حساب العائلة كله. أما «إزالة» فتُخرج الطفل من القائمة مع إبقاء بياناته لتتمكّن من إعادته.
• إيقاف أي جمع لاحق: حذف الطفل نهائيًا يوقفه؛ فلا يُجمع لذلك الطفل شيء بعدها. وإيقاف جهاز الطفل يوقف التطبيق عليه فورًا.
• فتح المعلّم الذكي، ومعه تمّورة والصوت، أو إيقافه، وفتح الفيديو أو إغلاقه: لكل طفل، في أي وقت، من مساحة ولي الأمر أو على جهاز الطفل برقم الوالدين السري.
• مراسلتنا: اكتب إلى privacy@tamoora.com. ولحماية الأطفال ننفّذ الطلبات المقدّمة من حساب العائلة بعد تسجيل الدخول، أو المؤكَّدة منه.

مدة الاحتفاظ

ما دام حساب العائلة قائمًا، إلا إذا حذفت الطفل نهائيًا قبل ذلك؛ ودقائق كل يوم، وعدد أدوار كل يوم مع المعلّم الذكي وتمّورة ومكالمات كل يوم بالصوت، 90 يومًا؛ وسجل كل مكالمة 7 أيام. والبيانات المحذوفة تزول من قاعدة بياناتنا العاملة فورًا، ومن نسخنا الاحتياطية المشفّرة خلال 35 يومًا.

القوانين التي نلتزم بها

نطبّق نموذج «الوالد أولًا» نفسه على كل طفل أينما كان: قانون حماية خصوصية الأطفال على الإنترنت الأمريكي (COPPA) لمن هم دون 13 عامًا؛ وأحكام اللائحة الأوروبية العامة لحماية البيانات بشأن موافقة الأطفال (المادة 8) في الاتحاد الأوروبي؛ واللائحة البريطانية ومبادئ مدوّنة التصميم الملائم للعمر في المملكة المتحدة؛ ونظام حماية البيانات الشخصية في المملكة العربية السعودية الذي يشترط موافقة الوليّ على بيانات القاصر؛ والقوانين المماثلة في غيرها.

متاجر التطبيقات

صُمّمت تمّورة لتستوفي قواعد متجر Apple لتطبيقات فئة الأطفال، وسياسة العائلات في Google Play: لا إعلانات ولا تحليلات من أطراف أخرى، ولا جمع لأكثر مما يحتاجه التطبيق ليعمل، ولا فيديو إلا بعد أن يفتحه أحد الوالدين، ولا شيء يستطيع الطفل شراءه أو تغييره في إعدادات العائلة دون أحد والديه.
